More paint goes on...or so I thought...

Well, I was showing my 13 year old son the 'getting to closer to being finished' beast and he says.... 'aren't you painting the dragon face'???? Now I know it needs some washes to bring out the finish but I didn't I was doing that badly!

More later.......have now decided that Salute is a must this year and will be going....it'll save me the postage of the chariots anyway!

Still a long way to go but have decided on green for the main colour......hoping it all works out.....

And my workbench for the John Carter stuff I'm working on for the OSFMapa journal ... deadline end of May. Why do I do this to myself??????

Kit bashing part 2....the work goes on.....

Quite getting into this....not sure I could make a profession of it though :( The vehicle has since been painted green and more highlights / washes on the figures themselves).....a long way to go and Salute is next Saturday......eek.

Not forgetting John Carter though.......here is an almost finished unreleased Heritage Zitidar - think beast of burden. A heck of a lump of lead that required a bit of filling. ME and my putty skills meant the putty did not set so I had to scrape it all off and start again.....it's life Jim, but not as we know it.

God knows where this is going............possibly Salute? An old Wacky Races Burger King toy meets a bunch of stuff from around the hobby room.......did some more putty work yesterday but have some serious priming to do once it is based later......
