Well, now I've caught your attention......this is a blog about gaming miniatures, both old and new school but with a leaning towards old school. I've been in the hobby since the 70s and seem to show no sign of stopping in the foreseeable future.....

That da**ed collecting bug... Oldhammer eat your heart out...
Well, with a Kickstarter or two under my belt it was time to collate the eBay finds of the last few months... some a little older that a US friend had sent over but all good stuff to add to the lead mountain... lots of Minifigs Mythical Earth and Sword & Sorcery... oh the joy!
Some Citadel AD&D minis... unfortunately they'd had their slottas taken off but still nice to find. Two versions disappeared to a friend in America to complete his collection. I'll find them again one day!
That's it for now... as if it wasn't enough... who needs to pay the mortgage! Any comments or similar lots to get rid of please give me a shout on;

Looking for TTG Reaper rules and Attack of the Fungoid Trolls...
A long time ago, well, around 1978, in a galaxy not so far from Nottingham, two young men by the name of Richard Halliwell and Richard Priestley penned a set of rules for tabletop gaming... it was published by Tabletop Games and set the world by storm... sort of. Only Mr Halliwell's name appeared on the front of the first edition... apparently they had run out of Letraset! The first edition was ringbound, followed later by the second edition which featured both names on the front... Rick Priestley had finally arrived! Both versions were illustrated by the wonderful Tony Ackland and Tony Yates.
Well, I'm after the original sets of rules and the later expansion, Attack of the fungoid Trolls (penned by both Richard Halliwell and Bryan Ansell)... I can offer cold, hard cash or trade stuff... email me and let me know!
My two sets... slight difference in size...
The short supplement included a separate sheet of counters...

Hinchliffe Robin Hood additions...
Well, some joyful additions appeared in the post yesterday morning (thanks Hans) and I'm getting close to completing the range. Wish I could find where I've put the rest of the collection (including a lot from Hinds Figures. I bought most from him a few years back but then they got put on the back burner and then into the attic when I had a storage sort out... http://www.hindsfigures.com/ - click on Hinchliffe, 25/28mm, Medieval and then Robin Hood. These are gorgeous old Peter Gilder sculpts and a worthy addition to anyone's collection.
